The NAUKA 0+ festival is one of the largest popular science projects in the world, the goals and objectives of which 100% coincide with the goals of the Year of Science and Technology. Lecture tracks and an interactive exhibition will fully reflect the themes of the Year: new medicine, space exploration, new challenges and threats/security, connectivity of territories and space exploration, climate and ecology, genetics and quality of life, artificial intelligence, man and society. The festival is being organized for the 17th time by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Moscow Government, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and RAS.
The NAUKA 0+ festival includes more than 10,000 free events for the widest audience in 80 regions of the Russian Federation, performances by 5 Nobel Prize laureates, 5 competitions for children and adults, the largest interactive exhibition, virtual laboratories, fascinating scientific shows, discussions about the future of humanity, screenings scientific films, robot competitions, Science Slam scientific battles, quizzes and quests. Among the headliners of past years: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, futurist Michio Kaku, scientific adviser to the Oscar-winning “Interstellar” Kip Thorne and many other famous popularizers of science.
In the virtual hypermuseum of science museum.festivalnauki.ru you will be able to examine scientific phenomena - from a black hole to coronavirus. The interactive exhibition will feature cluster zones corresponding to the thematic months of the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation.
